At one of our events, at the RDS (the biggest I think? exhibition hall in Dublin) in around 2006, the madness was especially intense and by mid morning on the last day almost every one of our exhibitors had made multiple sales and several had made enough to put them ahead of their previous year revenue (this was in May). As a result, everyone was in great spirits especially our own management because a great show like that meant we have no problem filling the same event in the autumn at even higher rates (and indeed the sales guys were already doing the rounds getting rebookings signed up on the spot). As a result, the beers and champagne were already flowing before lunch (it was an extremely boozy company anyway, pretty much run from the pub)..
