It was when I got to the root of why I avoid confrontation or conflict (when I do.) I avoid confrontation when I can discern that the person isn’t intelligent enough to appreciate or understand where I’m coming from. That sounds so awful. Haha also, a lot of the people pleasing social things just never quite jived.
Finding Inspiration For A Medieval Themed PartyIf you are still not sure about medieval parties, I recommend that you watch a few medieval films for inspiration before you start preparing your party. Remember that you are looking at medieval films for inspiration only (they do not need to be historically accurate) so all you want is a few ideas about medieval clothing, entertainment, decorations and food. Some good films to watch for inspiration are Franco Zeffirelli’s “Hamlet” with Mel Gibson.
The spill was discovered after the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection received a report of a strange odor on Thursday morning and visited the Freedom Industries site, where they found a leaking storage unit, a spokeswoman for Governor Tomblin said. (Additional reporting by Ian Simpson and Peter Cooney, in Washington, Colleen Jenkins in North Carolina, Mary Wisniewski in Chicago, and Eric M. Johnson in Seattle; Editing by Eric Walsh, Stephen Powell, Toni Reinhold).
It gives parents’ comments a prominent place at the start of the report, it devotes a chapter to a summary of their evidence and explicitly gives them special status “as a mark of respect and also as a permanent memory of their involvement in and contribution to the inquiry”.20This may help to explain assumptions that underlie the report (and the commentary that surrounded its publication) but are not explicitly spelt out within it, or challenged in the subsequent public debate. It is understandable that putting them at the centre of judgements about what happened in the past might be considered the very least that could be done to begin to address that prior wrong. But future policy should be judged against a wider public interest.
That would be one VP candidate from a battleground state (Virginia) and one from what some are saying could be a new battleground state (Georgia). That would line up with conventional wisdom, which says that candidates will try to pick running mates from battleground states in hopes of swaying voters in those states. But multiple studies suggest that doesn’t really work. And either way, recent candidates haven’t really chosen mates from those states all that often. So how do they pick? Geography still plays into it, but it’s all part of a bigger balancing act of picking a complementary candidate that sends a perfectly (or, as it sometimes turns out, imperfectly) calibrated message.Picking swing state candidates, but to little availJust on the face of it, the data don’t seem to say that recent candidates have chosen their running mates to try to win particular swing states.
